The HERA GmbH 9ERS RKS Intervention Carbine has the same enhance modularity and functionality that all other HERA firearms plus some custom enhacements. It has been designed following the experience of AR15 shooters and armorers and accomodates the 9mm cartridge in closed enviorements.
This caliber offers projectiles light bullet weight which substantially increases its effectiveness on target all while reducing felt recoil to the operator. The HERA 9ERS Rifles and Carbines features a free-floating CNC machined house barrel.—tuned to reliably cycle a wide range of 9x19 cartridges.
It feautures a picatinny, which offers incredible weight savings as well as superior cooling, ergonomics, and modularity.
It also allows maximum sight radius, for more accurate shooting with rail mounted iron sights, and provides operators with the option to extend the support hand out closer to the muzzle in order to drive the gun more precisely and help prevent over-travel when transitioning between multiple targets.
